My reports came back. I have been very tired lately — is something showing up?
Yes — three values point the same way. Your haemoglobin is low, your red cells are small (MCV 71.4), and ferritin is only 8. Separately they look confusing. Together this is iron-deficiency anaemia, and a ferritin of 8 says the store is already empty.
Hb 10.2 ↓ + MCV 71.4 ↓ + Ferritin 8 ↓ → one pattern, not three findings. Emergency triage: no red flags. Confidence: high.
Your B12 is low too, which is a separate finding. Fatigue can come from either, so correcting only the iron will not give you the full benefit. Ask your doctor what is causing the iron loss before starting a supplement.
